Energy Saving Tips 

  • Set your dishwasher to the "air dry" mode or turn it off after the last rinse cycle and allow dishes to dry on their own. This cuts energy use up to 40% per load.
  • Compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs last 10 times longer and use up to 75% less electricity than incandescent bulbs, so replace all the old bulbs throughout your home.
  • Unplug household electronics when they are not in use, since they continue to drain power even if they are not on.
  • Weather-strip around your windows to reduce cooling costs in the summer and heating costs in the winter.
